TAKELAC™ is a line of high performance laminates and adhesives available
in solvent based and solvent free grades. The polyurethane adhesive is used for
various kinds of retort packaging.
TAKELAC A-525S, is a polyester polyol with a low coating weight
of 3.0-4.0g/m2. The solvent based adhesive is bis-phenol A and organotin
is compound free. TAKELAC A-525S is used in conjunction with the
co-reactant, TAKENATE™ A-50, an isocyanate terminated hardener,
to produce a two-component polyurethane adhesive used for dry lamination,
such as PET/Al/CPP, PET/Ny/Al/CPP, PET/Al/Ny/CPP, PET/Ny/CPP or
Ny/CPP.
TAKELAC A-670A, is a polyester polyol, offering several of the same benefits
as the solvent based adhesive. This solvent free adhesive is bis-phenol
A and organotin compound free, with a low coating temperature of
122-140°F or 50-60° C. When TAKELAC A-670A is combined with the
hardener TAKENATE A-670B, the
adhesive can be used in food packaging.

A-525S is approved by FDA 21 CFP 177, 1390 and the solvent free grade A-670A/A-670B
